Inbox not showing new messages

Hey.

Yesterday 12.24 my inbox stopped showing new messages, all other folders; sent for example is refreshed as usual.

The emails still arrives to my apps and the account seems to work as usual but I cannot see them in my inbox online in Office365 from Mac Sierra, El Capitan, in Firefox or Safari, all the same.

Filters is working, I can for example read the unread messages by filtering them, then they become visible, I can also search for them and list them but still when I show "all", messages instead of conversations and no filter on; it says last message arrived 12.24 yesterday.

I tried to change folder and go back, change properties and go back, make my list organised on priority and back.

Nothing seems to work.

Would appreciate much if anyone seen anything like this before. I haven´t.

According to your description, I understand that the new email can’t appear when you select the “All” filter in Outlook Web App (OWA). However, the issue doesn’t exist in the Outlook app.

To investigate the unexpected behavior, please set the “Sort by” option to “Date” and send a test email to your mailbox to check if this unread email appear at the top of inbox folder.

Meanwhile, I’d like to collect the following information to better understand your situation:

  1. If possible, check if the issue persists in your colleague’s computer (Windows or Mac) using your Office 365 account.
  2. Does the issue appear all incoming emails?
  3. Have you created any inbox rule to filter the new emails to the subfolder of inbox folder?
  4. A screenshot of your OWA.

Have you looked under the Other tab so see if the "missing" mail is there?

Hello again.

I'll tell you all what had happn'. The user of the account had earlier set a rule "to pin all incoming emails", then the onlineversion of the program put all those pinned emails above the new emails in the listing. They arrived as usual but you didn´t see them in the list because they were below hundreds of pinned emails.

I don't know why the program do this but we managed to unpin emails and get the listing to work correct again after.
