Hi-I have my icloud mail account added to my Outlook. My subfolders that were in the Icloud Mail Inbox have disappeared from Outlook but are still on my Icloud mail account when I log in to Icloud. Thanks

Dear Christmasqueen ,
Thanks for choosing Microsoft community!
I have read your question carefully and done some research, please kindly refer to following:
At first, about the sync issue, please try to let your account work offline, ten switch to online to re-sync your account information from server. please choose your account > go to Tools > slide the Online/Offline button to let your account work offline, then turn to work online and check whether it helps.
In addition, you may also try to refer to LordAlukard's suggestion to re-configure your account as IMAP account in Outlook for Mac. (Note: to avoid data missing, we suggest you back up your data in advance.)
If it doesn't work, we suggest you get in-app support for Outlook for Mac which is the dedicated support channel for Outlook for Mac issue. Engineer there have more experience to handle Outlook for Mac issue. Your time and understanding will be appreciate.

Based on my experience, iCloud can be a little bit complicated. If you want to fully sync iCloud with Outlook and it is not working properly, please follow the following instructions:
1. Log out of iCloud
2. Remove any iCloud email in Microsoft Outlook
3. Restart your PC
4. Log in to iCloud
5. Follow the instructions
6. Restart your PC
Hope this help you, if there is any deviation in my understanding, please forgive me and provide me with more details. I am more than happy to continue to help you. I wish you all the best!
Best regards,
Kerry

Hi-Sorry, that did not do it. While continuing to research the issue further, I found this and IT WORKS!!! Issue solved!
When an account is setup as IMAP in Outlook sometimes the folders do not display. To get the folders to display in Outlook right click on the IMAP account in folder view > Choose IMAP Folders > Click on Query > on the ALL tab it will list all the folders on the mailserver. Click on Subscribed tab, this tab list all the folders you are subscribed to and see in Outlook. If a folder is not listed on the subscribe tab then go to the all tab select the folder and click on the subscribe button.
Solved the problem and I learned something new!

Alternatively, you can uncheck the box for "When displaying hierarchy in Outlook, show only subscribed folders." This will let you see all the folders, but not keep copies of everything locally. When you click on the folder, it will download the headers for you to read/see.

Thank You ChristmasQueen !
Your answer worked for me as well. After a month of trying different things,I was about to give up on Outlook altogether since my folders were showing up on iCloud.com correctly but not in Outlook 365. This was an easy fix to do, once I finally found your answer.
