I am locked out of my hotmail account and the recovery options are not working

I am locked out of my Hotmail account and the recovery options are not working despite numerous attempts. It only links me to an email address I no longer have access to, not my phone number that was used to set up the account. I have moved addresses and use different computers now so I think the online form is detecting this and locking me out.

I have important documents in my OneDrive that is linked to this account that I need to access. There is no alternative way to access these and I put them here as I believed they would remain accessible and secure.

I am not interested in more online forms as they are unhelpful, please escalate to a human.

Dear Kyerad

Welcome to Microsoft Community.

If your verification method is currently unavailable and you do not want to fill out the recovery form, you can contact our online support personnel.

The specific steps required to contact an online agent:

1. After entering "Contact - Microsoft Support", enter "Account Issue" in the search box

2. Click on login at the bottom of the page and contact support personnel.

3. Use your Microsoft account to log in.

4. Under "Products and Services", select "Microsoft 365 and Office Options".

5. Under "Category", select "Manage Account Security".

6. Click "Chat with Support Agent". Then fill in the contact information that the online agent can contact you with.

Tip: Please contact us during local working hours on weekdays so that CHAT can receive your request.

Thank you for taking the time to complete this task. If you have any other questions, please feel free to let me know.

Best regards
