How to pin Word and Excel to Taskbar Office 365 Family

Does some-one have an answer to this problem please?

It is really infuriating, frustrating and time consuming to first have to open Office, then select an option and only after that select a workbook.

3 Steps in stead of 1!

Answer
Answer

Do you have Word and Excel as separate items in the Start menu?

If so, right-click Word in the Start menu, and select More > Pin to Taskbar.

Do the same for Excel.

If you don't have Word and Excel in the Start menu:

Check which one of the following folders exists in File Explorer:

C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\root\Office16

C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\root\Office16

In that folder, right-click WINWORD.EXE and select Pin to Start.

Do the same for EXCEL.EXE.

You can now follow the steps from the beginning of this reply.
