How to block meeting invites

This ad business has filled my calendar with a event invite / meeting request

- Everyday

- All day

- for a month at the time.

The email address is:

*** Email address is removed for privacy ***

I cannot decline, delete, or modify this entry in my calendar.

Can anyone help me block this company from posting invites to my calendar?

Hello gabvoice2,

Welcome to Microsoft Community, and thank you for reaching out!

We appreciate you bringing to our attention your concern with blocking or deleting meeting invites. Let’s work together to resolve your concern.

Instead of blocking the said email account, you can create a rule that can automatically delete emails and meeting request from the said email. The instructions may vary depending on the Outlook platform you’re using.

If you're using Outlook.com, you can create a rule that can automatically delete emails using the sender email address.  To do so, please follow these steps:

  1. Open Outlook.com.

  2. Click the wheel or cog icon.

  3. Select View all Outlook settings.

  4. Under Mail, click Rules.

  5. Click Add Rules.

  6. Set the Rule name

  7. Under Add a condition, select From/Sender address includes and type in the email address. You may also use a different condition that is more appropriate. Also, you may set exception.

  8. Under Add an action, select Delete.

  9. Click Save.
