Instead of blocking the said email account, you can create a rule that can automatically delete emails and meeting request from the said email. The instructions may vary depending on the Outlook platform you’re using.
If you're using Outlook.com, you can create a rule that can automatically delete emails using the sender email address. To do so, please follow these steps:
Open Outlook.com.
Click the wheel or cog icon.
Select View all Outlook settings.
Under Mail, click Rules.
Click Add Rules.
Set the Rule name.
Under Add a condition, select From/Sender address includes and type in the email address. You may also use a different condition that is more appropriate. Also, you may set exception.
Under Add an action, select Delete.
Click Save.
