How do I resolve the pop up 'backup.pst cannot be found' when opening outlook?

When I open Outlook, I get a pop up that says :

The file C:\Users\...\Desktop\Calendar backup.pst cannot be found.

When I click ok, it takes me to a window to create/open outlook data file.

I cancel out of that and then outlook opens.

I'm trying to remove the annoying step.  I'm sure it's an easy fix.

help please!

Thanks

J.

Hi J,

Hope this finds you well.

I'm Sherwin and I'm an independent advisor. I would like to help you on your issue.

On your Outlook application, on the left side, try to close main folder that named as Calendar or sometimes it is named as Archive folder.

Once you found it, do a right click over it then select Close.

Let me know how it goes and ill be happy to assist you further.
Regards,

Sherwin Chua

Go to File, Account Settings, open the account settings dialog.  Switch to the Data Files tab. Select the pst that is triggering the message and click Remove.
