How do I mark a sender as safe?

I really like the new Outlook.com; I think it is a great improvement over the older Hotmail.com. But there's one thing about the old Hotmail.com that I miss, because no matter what I do or where I look, I cannot find how to duplicate the same functionality with Outlook.com. I have to check my Junk folder a lot, because many of the email newsletter I receive wind up there, and try as I might, I cannot find any way at all, of marking the email address those newsletters come from as being safe. Frankly, I hate this about Outlook.com! So, is there a way of marking an email address as being safe, when you're looking at the email? If so, how? If not, why not?

What you have to do is to include an email address in the Safe Sender's list. Please follow the steps below for this:

1. Sign in to your MS account.

2. In your mailbox, click on the cog wheel on the upper right pane of the window.

3. Click on More mail setting.

4. Under Preventing junk email, click on Safe and blocked senders.

5. Click Safe senders.

6. Enter the email address in the field and click Add to list.

If issue persists, please let us know so we can help you further resolve your issue.

Thanks!
