I have a gmail account, and I use Outlook for email and calendar on an iPhone, iPad, and Windows personal computer. I have an O365 account, and I subscribe to my Google calendar from Outlook.
When I add calendar events from my iPhone or iPad, it shows up on all 3 devices. When I add calendar events from my personal computer, it only adds them to the personal computer version of my calendar and not the iPad, iPhone or even my google calendar for that matter. How do I change the setting so that calendar events created on my personal computer are "pushed" to Google and subsequently the other devices too? I recognize that the Outlook Calendar says "This Computer Only"...how do I change it?

Hi I'm AnnaThomas and I'd happily help you with your question. In this Forum, we are Microsoft consumers just like yourself. The reason why your Outlook calendar on your personal computer says “This Computer Only” is because you have added your Gmail account as an IMAP account in Outlook. IMAP accounts can only sync email messages, not calendars or contacts. Therefore, any calendar events that you create on your personal computer will not sync with your Google Calendar or other devices . To fix this problem, you need to remove your Gmail account from Outlook and add it again as a Google account. This way, you can sync your email, calendar, and contacts between Outlook and Google I hope this helps ;-), let me know if this is contrary to what you need, I would still be helpful to answer more of your questions. This doesn't really address the problem, or outline the solution.
I've got the same issue. I don't use Google Calendar. I don't use Gmail. I use Google for my own e-mail box. And yet Outlook sends certain calendar invites (usually external ones -- again, not ones that I've set up on Google Calendar, but ones that have been sent me using an .ics file) to the "This Computer Only" box (which I never set up) which in turn doesn't show up on my Outlook calendar. I've missed multiple meetings because of this bug in Outlook, which really should be fixed.
I'm concerned that if I delete the "This Computer Only" box I'll lose all calendar invites sent my way.
This is a longstanding bug that Microsoft really should fix in Outlook and not blame Outlook users for.

Yep I have exactly the same issue, somehow when I work for an organisation and they deploy an O365 Licence I never have this issue. However when I rely on my own Family O365 licence when I am not employed, I cant get Calendars working. It's to the point now that I have to physically look at my calendar first thing in the morning on my PC to check if I have appoitments or calls.....in 2024 that's really not what we expect is it.
I have a follow up question.....Would moving to Android fix this issue ?

Not sure about the Android.
I have found a workaround to overcome this shortcoming. Add your gmail calendar as a view in Calendar view. Make sure you're on the gmail tab when you add a new calendar entry and it should work

Can you clarify, if I remove my Google account from your Outlook on my new computer, won't I lose the previous month's worth of calendar acceptance on the computer? Basically, I want to know if my previously accepted events will still be seen when I re-add my account as a google.

Yes, can someone answer this? If you remove the email, will it erase all of the calendar events?

I have an Outlook.com account where the calendar shows a normal calendar and also a calendar marked "this computer only:. The account is setup as aexchange account and I have previously deleted the OST file but that did not fix the issue.
Any help would be appreciated

Thank you, Anna. How do I set up the account as a Google account? I can only get it to do it as IMAP.
