How do I access my email in Outlook that no longer accepts password reset attempts?

Urgent: Suddenly, I can no longer access my Outlook. I try to reset my password and the system says I have tried too many times and asks me to wait until the next day, but in fact I have not tried. Sometimes it is the first time I have tried. What do I do? Microsoft support is very bad, I need to speak to an attendant urgently!! I work with my email and I am losing business.

Dear Maria Tereza Ribeiro De Miranda,

Good day, welcome to Microsoft community.

I know you can't access your email account right now; it won't even accept your request to reset your password, saying there are too many requests. This is really frustrating, and I understand how you feel, don't worry, I'm here to help you solve this problem.

First, I suggest you attempt to access your email from a different device or web browser to see if the issue persists. Because many people are unable to successfully adjust the recovery form due to network or device problems.

I know that you need this email urgently for your work, and you want to talk to the agent directly, I understand. Now I will tell you how to contact the agent. Since the community forum is a public community, in order to protect user privacy information, we cannot access any user privacy information and relevant data, it is a text reply only. So, I can't check the account status directly for you, but I can point you in the right direction.

Please use your other available personal Microsoft account to contact an online agent, the specific steps as below:

1.       After entering Contact - Microsoft Support, enter "Account Issues" in the search box

2.       Click Sign in and contact support at the bottom of the page.

3.       Sign in with your Microsoft account.

4.       Under Products & Services, select Microsoft 365 and Office Options.

5.       Under Categories, select Manage Account Security.

6.       Click "Chat with a support agent." Then fill in the contact information where the online agent can contact you.

Please contact chat during local working hours. I hope you can solve the problem smoothly.

Best regards,

Harris-MSFT |Microsoft community support specialist
