How can I combine rules in Outlook 2016?

I have begun creating rules, and several of them use the criterion of "xxx in sender's address," and all of those end with the same action [move to Trash]. I would like to combine these into one rule--but when I use the Change Rule dialog for one of these I'm not able to do so. Can you tell me exactly how I can do this?

You should be able to edit one of the existing rules - but yes, you will need to copy the address from the message.  There isn't an 'add to an existing rule' option when you right click on a message and choose create rule.

Anything prefaced with or inside >> is me doing it manually.

All of the posts here have a link back to the message we reply to.  You can add click the Reply with quote button to include the previous message, if you want - see screenshot. If a message is long, you can delete some of the text from the blue quoted part to highlight only what you are responding to.

Yeah, if you want to combine rules, you'll need to update them manually. So it won't matter if you use words in the address or header - you can click on the From field and copy the information - but will need to edit the sender name out.

Are you deleting these messages? if so, you could add them to the blocked sender list and send them to junk mail. That is a one step option. If its mail you want but addresses you'll never send to, then you'll need to use rules.
