Duplicates emails in my Hotmail inbox

I am using Outlook with Chrome in Bootcamp, on a MAC desktop. I have started getting duplicates (they are blank and cannot be opened), of every mail in my inbox and I cannot find any account settings to fix it. I have read that I should try unticking ''Leave a copy of messages on the server'' but can find no such setting. Can anybody help, please?

Regards, P

Hello steerpike(2)

Hi, I'm Karl and will be happy to help you today.

#1 - When accessing an Outlook.com account via webmail (using a browser) the "Leave a copy of messages on the server: does not apply. That is only relevant when the account is being configured as a POP account in any <email client>

#2 - In regard to the "duplicates".....

It sounds like you have the folder organized by "sender". Click the <filter> button at the top of the folder and sort it by "date"
