Disable the Auto-complete feature in Outlook

My outlook.live.com doesn't give me the option to disable the Auto-complete feature when entering an email address in the To or Cc fields. So frustrating as I have incorrect email addresses that I can't remove!
Hi, Noiram7777. Thanks for reaching out! I'm an Independent Advisor and a Microsoft user like you, and I am here to help with you on this issue.

Have you tried following these steps below?
To disable the Auto-Complete feature:
1. open Outlook and switch to the “File” menu.
2. On the sidebar, click the “Options” command.
3. In the Outlook Options window, click the “Mail” category on the left. On the right, scroll down to the “Send messages” section.
4. To disable the Auto-Complete feature, untick the “Use Auto-Complete List to suggest names when typing in the To, Cc, and Bcc lines” checkbox.

Outlook keeps track of email addresses you have used in an Auto-Complete List. You can clear this list by clicking the “Empty Auto-Complete List” button.

1. Select File > Options > Mail.
2. Under Send messages, choose Empty Auto-Complete List.

Hello Noiram7777, apologies for the late reply and also for my first suggestion. It does not apply if you are using the outlook web.

Try to follow these new suggestion and see if it will work this time:
In Outlook on the web, click the New button to start composing a new email.
In the To: field, start typing an email address.
Click the "X" which appears at the end of the auto-complete entry you want to delete.
Type a few more characters of the email address and note that the auto-complete entry persists - if it persists, it may take up to 24 hours for the change to be reflected. Check back in 24 hours to see if it still appears.

Note: There is not a way to clear the entire auto-complete list from Outlook on the Web. One must be on the desktop version of Outlook to have that feature.
