Changing Text Case Shortcut (Shift+F3) has stopped working in "Modern" Outlook update

As per the description you cannot use the feature to switch the case of the first letter in a selected word or line using the command "Shift+F3" in new Outlook for Windows.

After thorough testing and consultation, it’s been concluded that the feature you're inquiring about, is not yet available in new Outlook for Windows. You can refer to the attached article Keyboard shortcuts for Outlook - Microsoft Support.

Please note new Outlook is still in active production/preview. However, thank you for bringing this to our attention, we will surely raise your concerns to our Product Development Team and hopefully this can be included in the future updates. Please bring this feature Back

Why would they disable this function and when will it be back? Isn't a new version of software supposed to have enhancements, not become less user-friendly? I took a look at the shortcuts list you provided and it is extremely elementary. I will not be having anyone at my company to switch to the new version--Microsoft should not have released a software update while still in active production/preview.

Please bring this feature Back or atleast provide an alternate shortcut for Changing the Case.

It still does not work! I cannot figure out why this feature was removed by the MS development team!!!

It seems like the team may have overlooked the importance of improving functionality in favour of making cosmetic changes.

April 10, shift+F3 still not working,

This issue appeared two days ago. after years of using Shift/F3 successfully. Still trying to fix it.

Replying to myself!

Turned out it was an easy fix. Fn lock was activated on my keyboard (Logitech). Fix for that is pressing fn/esc simultaneously. Different brands have different fixes.

using new outlook v- 1.2024.605.100  and this is still not available.

I understand this outlook is web based and shift+F3 is an MS Office local app feature. But it was very handy.

Please bring it back.

BRILLIANT FIX FIND!!!! This fix also worked on my Dell laptop as of 6/28/2024. YAY!!
