Changing Font on Outlook Mobile App for Android

Is it possible to change the font on the Outlook mobile app for android? I don't see an option to change the font within the actual app and even if I change the font for the entire phone it still appears as Calibri. I want to change it to Times New Roman (consistent with my desktop default font). I'm using a Samsung Galaxy S10+, but I do not think that makes a difference.

As far as I can tell, there is no ability to change fonts in the app.

This currently isn't an option for this on the Outlook Mobile App.  How can we get this suggestion to the MS developers?  Being able to change the font size, style, weight should be a basic feature.

Thank you.

Do MS developers ever look here?

At the very least I should like to be able to change typeface and size, also in the signature.  My phone is on Android 10.

Same problem on iOS and now iPadOS.

A fundamental problem with Calibri (and Arial) is that it does not distinguish between I (capital 'eye') and l (lower case 'ell').
This is screamingly obvious right here in this comment box.  Why Microsoft loves this typeface so much beats me.

Thus I favour Verdana (or Tahoma for spreadsheets because it is a 'narrower' typeface).

We have been asking for this since 2016...I don't think they care.

This is probably the most aggravating part of Outlook for Android. On my Note 20 Ultra, Outlook works great. However, i am a stickler for consistency and when i reply from my phone it defaults to Calibri when i use Times New Roman or Arial. I really wish the developers would change this option.

It is really not a good choice to use system font size for the message font size. I have increased Font Size on my display settings and now all Outlook messages send from Android have larger font when I am replying to messages- looks so ugly and unprofessional. It makes me ditch Outlook for this reason alone.

If MS does not provide a solution to this  - Outlook for me and for many others would be forgotten - which would be shame as otherwise works great and is my preferred mail client.

Yes please update this!! There absolutely needs to be consistency between the app and the standalone. It's the same problem when accessing 365 from a browser - it defaults to the LARGE calibri font which looks terrible...
