Can't send mail in Outlook 365

We just started using Office 365 and after setting up Office 365 email in Outlook client found that we could receive but not send.  


Do you have any idea how to fix this?

Hi KarlGlover,

May I know whether you can send/received emails via using Outlook Web App without any issue?

Please make sure that Outlook clent are latest upated, you can install Office latest updates to see whether the problem still occurs.

If you have any antivirus software installed, please temporally disable it to check this issue.

Try using Outlook in safe mode and disable add-ins to check this issue.

To start Outlook in safe mode. 
1. Choose Start > Run.
2. Type Outlook /safe, and choose OK.

Do you received any error message? If so, please provide us with a screenshot for further analysis.

You may use the Office 365 Support and Recovery Assistant (SaRA) tool that can diagnose and fix the Outlook problems.
