Cannot receive mail

I can receive mail from other accounts, but not official accounts. My mail account is a hotmail account. I cannot receive mail from multiple official accounts, one being EA.

Dear, Princess Ria18

Thank you for posting in the Microsoft Community.

I am sorry to hear that your Hotmail mailbox is not receiving official emails. This could be due to a number of reasons. Let's troubleshoot this together and see if we can resolve the issue.

First, you can try the following steps to determine the root cause of the issue:

1. Check the blacklist and forwarding settings:

o Check if you have set email addresses that cannot be successfully sent to a block list (blacklist). If so, remove the person from the blacklist.

o Check if you have set up forwarding of emails.

2. Check the mailbox capacity and active status:

o Your mailbox may be inactive due to full emails or long time no login. Check to see if your mailbox has reached full capacity. o If your mailbox is inactive, check to see if your mailbox has reached full capacity.

o If your mailbox is in an inactive state, try to log in and see if you are able to receive mail.

3. Check the mail rules:

o Have you set up appropriate mail rules that are causing your emails to be deleted? You can check the mail rules in Settings on the Outlook.com page to make sure that you are not deleting emails by mistake.

4. Secure Sender Settings:

o If you are unable to receive mail from a specific contact, add them to your secure sender list. This will allow you to receive mail from these addresses. You can find "Prevent Spam" under "Options" on the Hotmail home page, and then click "Safe and Blocked Senders" to add the sender's email address that you want to add

If you are unable to receive mail from a third-party domain address, first of all, in order to verify whether it is a third-party domain name mail is blocked by the Outlook.com server, it is recommended that you can try to contact the support window of the third-party domain name.

Of course, these instructions are my guess, if it is not my understanding of the situation, please tell me the details of the specific circumstances, of course, if there are screenshots would be better.

I hope the above information is helpful to you. Looking forward to your reply.

May you be well.
