A mailbox couldn't be found for {0}

I encouraged a problem when I tried to login to my University account

I can access office 365 and its applications, but outlook isn't listed amongst them

I've checked with other classmates and I'm the only one having this issue

for what's worth, I used to be a student for the same university in undergraduate program few years ago, and used the same email back then, before they have office 365 for students.

Hope the issue could be fixed.

Answer

hi fatimanaser,

thanks for your reply.

i have tried to reproduce the issue on my side, and if i remove the mailbox’s exchange online license, and log into owa, i get the same error message like yours. see the screenshot below:

as yang mentioned above, some troubleshooting tools can’t be accessed by the end users, and the license status can be checked by the administrators only. i recommend you involve an administrator of your office 365 tenant (or the person who gave you this office 365 account) to see to it. and let the administrator reply to this thread directly.

thanks,
gary
