404 ID- Abnormal login reminder

I received an email that my E-mail will be suspended because I have been ignoring all our update messages sent to me. If you wish to continue using this account, take action below.

It has a click here to verify link.

It looks official and I do not recall seeing any update requests. Is this legitimate? I do not want to open the link if it is not.

That email is a phishing scam and not legitimate. Microsoft will never send emails to notify about closing email accounts. Accounts can only be closed manually by the owner, or if the account becomes inactive for at least two years.

Please mark them as Spam or Phishing through the Junk button, never click on any links and delete those emails right away. More details can be found below.
