OneDrive desktop app won't stay logged in

Every time my computer starts up it goes through the "getting started with OneDrive" process as though it's never run before. It makes me log in and set it up every time. How do I make it stop doing that?

Hi,

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community.

I can understand your concern and will be glad to assist you.

Meanwhile, you can try to reset OneDrive on your Windows 10 computer and check if it helps you. Follow the steps given below.

1.  Press the Windows key + R to open the Run Window.

2.  In the Run Window enter the following: %localappdata%\Microsoft\OneDrive\onedrive.exe /reset

3.  Click OK.  The OneDrive system tray icon on the desktop should disappear and re-appear after a minute or two.

4.  If the OneDrive system tray icon does not re-appear after a few minutes, do the following.  In the Run Window Enter: %localappdata%\Microsoft\OneDrive\onedrive.exe

Do get back to us with the results to assist you further.
