Outlook 13 as Live Tile in Windows 8?

I've just installed Office 13 Preview On Windows 8 RTM, and it appears that I can't display Outlook's calendar via the built-in Calendar App. Same goes for Mail.

I sort of expected an "Outlook" version of each one of these Windows 8 apps that would show me status information from my Exchange server versus Live/Hotmail. Either that, or way to re-direct the Out-of-the-box Mail & Calendar apps to Exchange.

Is there any way to get this to work cleanly? I don't want to do something kludgy like use the Outlook/hotmail connector.

No, Outlook is an Desktop application in the Office 2013 release and won't have any Live Tile integration with the Windows 8 Start Screen.

When you have an Exchange ActiveSync capable account (like an Exchange or Hotmail account), you can indeed configure it with the Mail and Calendar app of Windows 8. When you configure Outlook with an Exchange or Hotmail account, the displayed information will be the same.

The Outlook Hotmail Connector is not compatible/needed in Outlook 2013 as it supports Exchange ActiveSync connections now as well. The server to use for Hotmail (and related) accounts when setting it up manually is m.hotmail.com
