OneNote - Can't Sign in to free Win7 Desktop version

Just installed the new free desktop version of OneNote and it says "sign in required"

I click the "sign in" butt on and nothing happens.

I'm not given anywhere to enter my sign in info.

The OneDrive app that got installed at the same time is working just fine, all signed in an synced.

Tried reinstalling but no change.

Answer
I finally found a way to get it to work. As another person suggested, I opened onenote.com and signed in there. Once I had a notebook opened, I clicked on "Open In OneNote" at the top of the page. That launched Onenote on the PC. In the upper right corner of OneNote, I clicked on my name and then clicked on "Account Settings." Under "Connected Services", I clicked on "Add a service" and added OneDrive. Once I had done that, I was able to launch OneNote on the PC directly.
