OneNote 2010 RTM, 64-bit Windows 7, no Print-to-OneNote

Just installed OneNote 2010 RTM on my Windows 7 machine and am unable to Print-To-OneNote from any application.

When trying to print from Acrobat Reader, I click "Print" and nothing appears to happen.

When trying to print from Notepad, I click "Print" and get a dialog box that says "The handle is invalid."

When I try to print a test page from Devices and Printers, I get a dialog box that says "Test page failed to print. Would you like to view the print troubleshooter for assistance? Operation could not be completed (error 0x0000007e)."

Rebooting does not help the situation.

What should I try next?

Follow up to my previous post...

I just ran the Office 2010 RTM installer in "repair" mode and rebooted to see if that would help. No improvement.

Is this the 32-bit or 64-bit version of OneNote 2010?  Professional Plus or Home & Business version?

Do you have OneNote open when you try to print to it? (You shouldn't need to, but just checking...)

I've tried it both ways, doesn't seem to make a difference.

I have the same issue after installing Microsoft Office 2010 on Windows 7 Professional, 64bit edition. It seems to be a problem with the 64bit drivers. I cannot print to OneNote from any application. I wish I would have known this when I installed MS Office, as the information on Microsoft site is misleading, claiming that OneNote should operate properly on either 32bit and 64bit operating systems. The problem existed in previous versions of OneNote, but it was supposed to have been solved in OneNote 2010....

OneNote 2010 64-bit prints to OneNote just fine for me.  Do you see the XPS printer listed when you go to Control Panel | Printers?

In my case, what the software has installed by default was Microsoft Office 32bit (on Windows 7 64bit). The XPS document printer and "Send To OneNote 2010" printers are available in Printers panel, but none of them works. If I try printing from any program, the process just stalls.

If the XPS printer does not work, the OneNote printer won't work (it depends on the XPS printer).  You may want to try reinstalling the XPS printer - I have a step by step to do this at http://blogs.msdn.com/b/johnguin/archive/2010/10/07/the-xps-printer-is-needed-by-the-send-to-onenote-printer.aspx

Hope this helps.
