Yes the publication needs to be published for the code to work.
Try the following steps and check if they help,

  1. Open the publication that you have created. Don’t add any code.
  2. In Publisher click fileàPublish to webàOn the publish to web window,
  3. Click desktop on the left hand side of the window, and then click save.
  4. When the publishing is done. Publisher creates 2 files on the desktop, a file by name "index.html" and a folder by name "index_files".
  5. Right click on "index.html" file, Click open withànotepad
  6. It opens up a notepad window with HTML Code in it.
  7. Insert the text in the notepad under ”<body>” as per the instructions given by Cooliris.
  8. Save the file on the desktop with the same name "index.html".
  9. Close the notepad window. Open the “index.html” file from the desktop. You would see the 3D wall on the page.

After you follow the instructions above both the "index.html" file and the folder "index_files" have to be uploaded on the on the webserver to be able to view the 3D wall on your website.
