How to uninstall office 2013?

Hi

I have troubles uninstalling Office 2013 after an update broke the program.

I tried to follow this KB: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2739501

But alas, When I punch in eg. "schtasks.exe /delete /tn "FF_INTEGRATEDUPDATEDETECTION"" Im only told that "ERROR: The specified task name "FF_INTEGRATEDUPDATEDETECTION" does not exist in the system."

So, should I just continue the manual uninstallment, or what should I do, when my scenario doesnt work as prescribed in the KB?

And now there are several problems with the office 2010 version on my PC as well, so I hope I can get rid af this Office2013 soon...

How do I uninstall Office?

You can uninstall Office by doing the following:
  • Office 365 Home Premium: Go to www.office.com/myaccount and then, in the Current PC Installs section, click deactivate. Then, to remove Office entirely, go to your PC’s Control Panel and uninstall it.
  • Other Office 365 plans: Log into your account at www.office365.com to manage your installations, including deactivating Office. If you want to remove Office applications completely from your computer, you must uninstall Office from your PC’s Control Panel.

As you are unable to uninstall Office from Control Panel, you may uninstall Office 2013 from registries and check if it helps.

Follow the steps mentioned below to manually remove Office 365 home preview traces completely and check if that helps:

Disclaimer: If you use Registry Editor incorrectly, you may cause serious problems that may require you to reinstall your operating system. Microsoft cannot guarantee that you can solve problems that result from using Registry Editor incorrectly. Use Registry Editor at your own risk. Ensure to back up the registry before editing or deleting any keys from the registry:

http://windows.microsoft.com/

1. Remove the published component registration for C2R

·         Locate the package folder by looking at: HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\

·         Delete the C2RManifest*.xml files from <PackageFolder>\root\

·         Run the integrator with the /U command from elevated cmd:

<PackageFolder>\root\

2. Remove scheduled tasks from elevated cmd:

·         schtasks.exe /delete /tn "FF_INTEGRATEDstreamSchedule"

·         schtasks.exe /delete /tn "FF_INTEGRATEDUPDATEDETECTION"

·         schtasks.exe /delete /tn "FF_INTEGRATEDOffice 15 Subscription Heartbeat"

3. Close down any Office apps and shutdown/kill any of the following C2R processes from Task Manager:

a)      ntegratedoffice.exe

b)      appvshnotify.exe

c)       ntegrator.exe

d)      firstrun.exe

e)      setup*.exe

4. Remove the Office Service from elevated cmd:

a.       sc delete OfficeSvc

5. Delete the Office files by removing the following files/directories:

·         "%ProgramFiles%\Microsoft Office 15"

·         "%ProgramData%\Microsoft\

·         "%ProgramData%\Microsoft\

Note: If there is a lock on any of these files or directories that prevents deletion, rebooting the machine and trying again should remove any stragglers.

6. Delete the Office regkeys by removing these nodes:

a.       HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\

b.      HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\

Note: Depending on your SKU or language, you may need to delete a similar, but differently named key by changing "ProfessionalRetail" to your SKU, and "en-us" to your language

c.       HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\

7. Delete the start menu shortcuts:

a.       "%ALLUSERSPROFILE%\Microsoft\

b.      "%ALLUSERSPROFILE%\Microsoft\

c.       "%ALLUSERSPROFILE%\Microsoft\

Note: If there are other Office products installed on the machine, you will need to go one level deeper than the above and delete the individual shortcuts with "15" in the names so as to not delete the shortcuts for the other Office products.

8. Uninstall the "Microsoft Office Habanero Local Components" from elevated cmd:

a.       If running x86 Office on an x64 OS:

MsiExec.exe /X{50150000-008F-0000-1000-

b.      If running x86 Office on an x86 OS:

MsiExec.exe /X{50150000-007E-0000-0000-

c.       If running x64 Office on an x64 OS:

MsiExec.exe /X{50150000-008C-0000-1000-

9. Uninstall the Microsoft Office Habanero Supplemental Local Components:

MsiExec.exe /X{00150000-008C-0000-0000-
