Hi, I'm from the OneNote team. I want to thank you for reporting this issue. Sorry to hear that you are experiencing this. We are looking into it now.
In the meantime, your issue may be caused by a custom dictionary file. These steps might help some users:
· Launch Microsoft Word
· Go to Preferences
· Select Spelling & Grammar
· Select the Dictionaries… button
· For each custom dictionary in the list, select that dictionary and then press the Remove button
· Quit Word and then launch OneNote
Depending on exactly what state you are in, you may see a Grant File Access dialog show up at several of the different steps above. If this shows up, just cancel the dialog – note that it might need to be cancelled several times.
