Attaching file in OneDrive to Outlook Mail now gives only link option

For the last 2 or 3 years I've been happily attaching files from my computer's OneDrive folder to Outlook Mail. Now suddenly I get the pop up below restricting me to sending a link of the file in the body copy, not attaching a copy of the actual file. I want my customers to have the file, not just view it. Can anyone explain what's going on and how/if I can revert to what I had before?

We apologize for any inconvenience this issue has caused. The feature has been rolled back and you can restart Outlook to go back to the original experience. Please see this post for more information.


Files from OneDrive are attached in emails as cloud attachments by default
