Cannot sign into any of the office 2016 professional plus application

Hi,

I have downloaded and installed a HUP version of the office 2016 professional plus. After installation, I have attempted to sign in on any one of the apps (ie. word, excel). The apps do prompt sign in box, and I proceed to enter my email and password, however, they just disappear after entering the correct account information. The apps do not recognize my sign in. Is there a solution to this? I have tried re-installation.

2. From where did you downloaded Office 2016 Home User Program?

Hi Prabhavathi,

1. There was not any error messages, I simply sign in and nothing happens, the app does not recognize my log in. When I try to sign in again, it still wouldn't work.

2. I downloaded my copy of office 2016 professional plus from https://www.microsofthup.com/. I use the link provided in an email i received which corresponds to an order with a product key.

You may open any Office application in Run as Administrator and check if it helps.

 

Locate any Office application and right click on it and select Run as Administrator.

Hi,

I tried to open the applications in root/office16 with cmd and /safe, all it prompts is "We're sorry, but Excel has run into an error preventing it from working correctly. Excel will need to be closed as a result. Would you like us to repair now?" There were three options "Repair Now", "Help" and "Close". I tried all of them. Repair Now does nothing. Help goes to a webpage.
