Custom Hot Key for Screen Clipping - Microsoft Word 2013

AlexKelley asked on
Can you set screen clipping to a hot key in Microsoft Word 2013? I know you can make custom hot keys and I know how to do that, but I could not find one for screen clipping. The closest one I found was for InsertObject.

The answered status icon Answer
An approach you can try is create a macro that invokes the screen capture function, Put the macro on the QAT, give the macro a shortcut key combo.

How To Capture and Print the Screen, a Form, or Any Window

I think you can extract at least 2 screen capture modes: Screen and Active Window from the macros in this example.

you can use shortcut Alt, N, S, C, C to invoke the existing screen clipping functionality in MS Word. Note: Screen clipping can only capture windows that are Not minimized to taskbar.
