Skydrive Pro Crashing Every Time

Hi,

 

Skydrive Pro just started consistently crashing each time it starts. It was connected to an Office 365 SharePoint personal document library and working fine. If I click on the Skydrive Pro link in Windows Explorer, it crashes. If I run SkyDrive Pro, it crashes. I looked on the Office 365 forum and it looks like I should post here.

 

I have tried:

  1. confirming I have the latest Office updates - you can see from the dump that I'm running 15.0.4535.1507
  2. removing all local Skydrive Pro files
  3. deleting the site from the list to be synced
  4. clicking on the SYNC option again in SharePoint Online to add it back (it appears, but crashes)
  5. removing Skydrive Pro from Office 2013 and reinstalling it
  6. repairing Office 2013
  7. multiple reboots

Nothing works. It continues to crash each time.

Thanks to Eric for finding the solution.


Stop Groove.exe, then run:
  • On a 64-bit Windows platform:
    %SystemDrive%\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\Office14\Groove.exe /clean /all
