Is there some way of selecting more than one Stylistic Set at a time

In the OpenType Features section of the Font dialog box, Stylistic Sets are able to be selected from a menu. The way this works appears to allow the selection of only one Stylistic Set at a time. The OpenType specification provides for these Stylistic Sets (as with all other OpenType features) to "interact in particular ways or otherwise work together". They are not intended to operate as alternatives to each other with only one being available at a time. Is there some way of selecting more than one Stylistic Set at a time?  There are many fonts (including my own) that have been built according to the OpenType specification which allows multiple Stylistic Sets to be used concurrently. Kevin.

Thanks for your reply. I was aware of the ligatures features access but Stylisytic Sets (type 1 substitution) don't deal with ligatures - ligatures uses a different substitution rule (type 4). If Word only allows one Stylistic Set to be used at a time then this is a regrettable "dumbing down" of the OpenType speciification. Stylistic Sets are not designed to be mutually exclusive, rather they are intended to work together and add to each others' effects. It is rediculous to allow only one to be applied at a time. It will break or limit the functionality of many fonts.  Kevin

I don't know why they linked to your question from the article presenting the support of stylistic sets in IE10 preview today! http://blogs.msdn.com/b/ie/archive/2012/01/09/css-corner-using-the-whole-font.aspx (at this line=> For instance, an OpenType “stylistic set” built into Gabriola allows this text:)

Can you confirm if it allows multiple effects and addresses whatever your concern is?
