Lines disappearing and reappearing in Word 2010 tables.

Since I have install Word 2010 I am having trouble with tables.  When creating or editing a table the lines disappear and then reappear when I scroll to the next page and back to the table.  Sometimes the table prints the lines and sometimes not.  Also when I insert additional rows it seems to create another table rather than inserting them in the existing table.  Does anyone know what is causing these two problems?Operating System:  Windows 7

I suspect part of your problem is that there are 2 types of table "line". One is "grid" lines, that optionally display on screen only, they do not print. The other is table borders that always display and always print.

Sometimes grid lines are not drawn onscreen even thought they are turned on. A quick <page up><page down> will often get them drawn properly.

I just make sure to turn on the grid lines.
