Where is View Encoding option?

I receive emails in Greek characters who appear illegible and cannot read them.

In the past when using MS Outlook 2003 I would select View Enconding and select UTF-8 to read the illegible characters. There is no such option in MS Outlook 2010 Beta. What is one supposed to do to read such emails?

Thanks

Panos

Ah, that is Outlook for Mac and not for Windows. Despite the same name, they are not the same.

That said, it is really strange that you are still experiencing this issue for so many years and even between Outlook platforms. Does this always happen for a specific type of email or from a specific sender? It could be a missing font issue then as well. In that case, installing that font instead of forcing it to fall back to another compatible font might solve it too.

You can find a similar case in the Outlook for Mac forum;
