Sent items are not saving to the designated folder (Outlook 2010)

My Sent messages are not saving to the Sent folder, even though the box is checked in the Options menu. Any ideas about how I could fix this?

Did you double-check that on the Sent Items tab of your IMAP account settings, you've clicked "Save sent items in the follwing folder on the server" and that you've checked the "Sent Items" (or whatever the name might be) folder on the server where you want your items stored?  That works for me.  I can't explain why it might not work for you.
