Quick steps that produce an email WITH ATTACHMENT...

Hi, I want to have a customized quick step that sends an email with an attachment, but this doesn't seem possible in Outlook 2010.  Can the feature be added, or is there a workaround?  (I used to use custom user forms for the same task but it's a number of clicks through to start a new email from there and I would love to use the convenience of the new quicksteps.

Help would be MUCH appreciated.

You can't do it using quick steps. Depending on the featues in the custom form, you can use one of the folllowing methods. Not all methods work for all forms - if it has custom fields you need to use the Forms menu or publish.

You can create custom send to commands to use when you right click on a file in Windows Explorer.

You can copy the template to a folder in outlook so its easier to find.

You can publish forms and access it from the New Items menu.

You can add the Templates folder as a menu on Windows task bar so the templates are easier to access.
