As you can see I have no Accept/Decline or any other normally formatted buttons that accompany a calendar request... Therefore, I have no way of addressing these items. I have updated to the latest service pack and have checked the iCal option on...

I have looked everywhere and I cannot find a resolution to this problem... Any help at all would be greatly appreicated.

Thank you in advance...

Try the step below and check and verify the results:

Click File / Options / Trust Center/ Trust Center settings/ E-mail Security.

Under Read as Plain Text, check if the box is selected before: Read all standard mail in plain text.

Furthermore, add the senders to your safe list.

Right click the sender, click Junk/Junk Email, and click Add to safe senders.

Thanks for your feedback.

The Read as Plain Text box was unchecked.

I added a sender to the safe senders list and had them forward an email invite, but nothing changed.

I should also note that not only can't we receive Calendar Invites via email with Outlook 2010, but we also cannot send then calendar invites.

Thanks,

Tony

I am having this exact same error, can someone please try to help with this.

I have also created a new .pst file and the user is still getting calendar invites as plain text.

Check how it appears on the webmail logging into your email account from the browser.

Also try restarting the computer in Clean boot and check if the issue occurs following the steps from the KB below:

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/310353

Note: Ensure you restart the computer in normal mode after troubleshooting.

I have restarted in safe mode, it did not make a difference.  In fact that is the same page I found also.
I also started Outlook in safe mode and that did not help either.
I tried using the /cleansniff and /sniff switches and they did not help either.
