0x800CCC1A

In Outlook 2010 I receive error report 0x800CCC1A " your server does not support the encryption type you have specified"   It suggests that I change the encryption type".

This error occurred imediately after downloading & installing 15 windows and/or office updates last night into Window 7 pro and Office 2010 Pro.

System restoring back cures the problem, but what is the problem?
