Can't remove multiple attachments from an email in Outlook 2007 under Windows 7

My office IT staff just migrated from Windows Vista to WIndows 7 Enterprise SP1.  We still use Office 2007.  Previously, I was able to save Inbox space by archiving large attachments to my hard drive and make a note of the location in the email.  I was able to right click one of the attachments, choose the "Select All" option, then right click again and select Remove.  Now, I can select all of the attachments, but when I right click again, the Cut option is grayed out, and I only have the option of Copy or Select All (again).  I frequently get emails with a dozen or more attachments, and now have to right-click and Remove each attachment one at a time.  Is there an option someplace that I need to choose that gives me this ability?  Thanks.

I don't remember whether it was possible before OL 07. The operating system certainly doesn't matter.

In Outlook press alt+f11, ctrl+r, then copy the code to the ThisOutlookSession module. You can call the procedure by pressing alt+f8.
