My boss asked if I could copy a macro I wrote to his version of Excel 2007. He doesn't have a Personal.xlsb file. I had expected to be able to "unhide" it to copy the macro into it. I have never come across that before. If I were to copy my own Personal.xlsb
file to his computer, would that cause any issues I should be aware of? On my PC, it's in the XLSTART folder, so I'm assuming I should copy it to the same location on his PC? We both use Excel 2007 on Windows XP.

An installation of Excel doesn't have a presonal.xlsb until you create it and doing that is simple.
On you bosses PC record a macro but when you get the popup at the start change 'Store Macro In' to Personal workbook. Recird yoursef doing soemting like selecting a cell then stop recording and closse Excel. You will get two prompts
1. Save workbook - That's up to you.
2. Save personal workbook - Yes
And that it your boss now has a personal.xlsb.
Edit....I should have added, don't un-hide it to add the module, access it via project explorer. Alt+F11 to open it and you'll see personal.xlsb
