How do I handle a name conflict error on a worksheet

While trying to copy a worksheet over in excel, I got an error message that there is a name conflict.  It says "name already exists on destination worksheet"  No matter what I do, I can't get rid of the pop-up error messages to cancel the copy.  I can't get back to my worksheet.

Answer

Hi,

This error generally arises when there are some erroneous names in the worksheet.  Press Ctrl+F3 (the Excel name manager box will show up).  On the right hand side there will be a filter button - select "Names with error" and once all of them show up, delete the erroneous names.

Now try to copy the sheet.

Does it work?
