for none administrative user cannot open references dialog from tools menu visual basic window.

When I sign on my computer as administrator I can open the Tools->References... dialog of the Visual Basic Developer's window.

When I try to do the same with a none admistrative user, I get a error message of "Error accessing the system registry".

I get this for all applications with my Home and Student Office 2007 applications.

Again, references dialog opens for administrator user but not none administrative users.

I have tried re-installing office but get the same results each time.

I working on a 64 bit windows seven computer.

can anyone help

I don't know whether this is by design, a bug or something odd about your system, but as a test, try running the Office app as Administrator (find its Icon in Start, All Programs; hold down Shift while you rightclick the icon; choose Run as Administrator)
