Email in Outlook 2003

I use Outlook for everything but email.  I just set-up my iPad and I'm now getting the following alert continually:  "either there is no default mail client or the current mail client cannot fulfill the messaging request.  Please run Microsoft Office Outlook and set it as the default mail client."

How do I stop this message from constantly appearing?  I do not need an Outlook email account.

how is your iPad configured for mail?  Something on it is calling your mail client and you need to set a default e-mail client to stop the message.
