Delivery has failed

Hi,

When want to send message to others, one or few recipients' email address undelivered. After that received a bounced back message by Outlook as below:

 


Delivery has failed to these recipients or groups:

The format of the e-mail address isn't correct. A correct address looks like this:*** Email address is removed for privacy ***. Please check the recipient's e-mail address and try sending the message again.

 

What caused this? and how to solved? I have few users encountered such error recently. they are using outlook 2003.

and the outlook profile is not new. I mean, this is not the 1st exchange account added to this profile, previously they have another exchange account.

How many accounts have you configured in Outlook now?

 Try the steps below and check:

1.    Clickhere and delete the Outlook clients nickname cache file by searching the local Outlook profile for an .NK2 file and deleting it. 

2.    Change the Outlook to non-cached mode to ensure it is not a cached entry from the Offline Address Book.

3.    Check the behavior in OWA to confirm the server is generating the correct address list and has updated the Global address list.
