Can't Play Texas Hold Em on MSN Games - General Error

I've been playing Texas Hold'em on MSN games for some time now.

As of a couple days ago I'am not able to get into a game. I get message 'General Error Please try to relaunch...'

I have IE 11 and have changed inet option settings as suggested in some forums.

I've also verified current Windows & IE updates. (however-do java and/or adobe have ipact on MSN game apps?)

The only event I can correlate with this happening is getting the new MSN homepage (which stinks btw).

Points of note - when selecting Texas Hold'Em from list it has been showing '36 players' (or some other lower number)

but when attempting match it shows 0 - this is in contrast to always seeing around 100+ players playing.

Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

Thanks for reply. Issue rectified before your answer. The only other thing I did in interim was run java update and a couple other security updates (all of which are usually automatic or with prompt). I did make your suggested rendering change anyway. Thanks again.
