Update song Metadata in Groove

I have a number of songs where I have wrong metadata and would like to update this information.

However, I am struggeling to do this.

To try to fix this, I have also started to use MediaMonkey, and is updating metadata there. This is saved to the files locally. For some reason it is not uploaded again to OneDrive, and is not accessible in groove.

Any ideas for how to update metadata correctly?

As you've found, Groove sadly does not do this natively (as the Zune client did or WMP).  So you could alter the meta data and tags in Windows Media Player which will find your music based on your library location settings, on the files individually selecting them in file explorer and then right click on them to get to their properties.

Or use a third party tagging app, I am very happy with MP3TAG.

May require you to re-up them into OneDrive or re-drag them into the OneDrive local synced folder.  Presumably the modified date on the files alter when you make these changes to tell the system its been updated.
