How to change my gametag

I can't find where to change my gametag.

While in my memory I've never changed that.

I followed http://support.xbox.com/pages/xbox-live/how-to/xbox-live-account-management/change-gamertag.aspx

but it didn't work.

I can't see 'Profile' in GFWL

And then I go to https://live.xbox.com/en-US/ChangeGamertag

But I could only see a link of 'How to change your gamertag on your Xbox 360 console'

So what's wrong?

Hi,

 

Yes I think so.

 

To change your Gamertag on Xbox Live, Please follow these instructions.

Please:

 

Go onto your Xbox 360

 

Go to the Dashboard

 

Scroll Right untill you come to Accout Settings ect...

 

Go into Account Settings

 

Then go to Edit Profile

 

Then Change Gamertag

 

The type your new Gamertag in

 

The click Ok

 

If you do not have enough Microsoft Points then Click Add Microsoft Points

 

You can also change your name from the PC.

To do this online please:

 

Go to Xbox.com

 

Then Sign into your Profile

 

Click Edit Gamer Profile.

 

Click Gamertag.

 

Click Change Gamertag.

 

Type a new gamertag that has up to 15 characters into the empty field

 

Then click Submit to continue.

 

Review the cost details of your gamertag change

 

Then click Confirm.

 

If you don’t have 800 Microsoft Points, you are prompted to Add Microsoft Points.
