cd player for windows 10

I want to play my own CD how do I do that now that I have windows 10?  I don't want to subscribe to GROOVE!

Windows 10 still includes Windows Media Player to play music CDs - Groove does not support this.  So, it might be your auto play is not setup correctly.

Go to This PC, right-click on your disc drive and choose Open AutoPlay and from there choose Windows Media Player.

It would be nice for Groove app to replace Windows Media Player for playing CDs though.
