Ripping CD's on Windows Media Player

I was communicating with someone on ripping CD's on Windows Media Player.  I lost that person.  Anyway I can get back?  I still cannot rip CD's with Windows Media Player.  Help
Hi Theresa,

I think that was me you were communicating with . . .

When you insert the CD into your PC, does that CD appear in Windows Media Player and start to play?
