Ripping CD's on Windows Media Player

I think that was me you were communicating with . . .
When you insert the CD into your PC, does that CD appear in Windows Media Player and start to play?

Press Windows key + R
Type: optionalfeatures.exe
Hit Enter
Expand Media Features
Uncheck Media Player
Click OK
Restart if prompted
Press Windows key + R
Type: optionalfeatures.exe
Hit Enter
Expand Media Features
Check Media Player
Click OK
Restart if prompted
Follow these steps to rip the CD
Insert the disc
Launch Media Player
Press Windows key + R
Type: wmplayer
Hit Enter
In the left pane, click the audio disc
On the command bar at the top, click 'Rip CD' start ripping it to your local hard disk.
