How do I rip a cd in my Windows 10

It should not be any different... If you are not seeing a rip option in WMP when a disc is inserted it is most likely because there is no default rip location set. Check here... and add 'Music' (then OK) if necessary.

(Note - ignore the audio books bit - that was for a slightly different issue!)) - Cheers, Ric.

I think I might try stamping on my new Computer for a while, then try again.

I'll unmark it as answer until resolved... what is happening in WMP when you insert a CD? A screenshot of what is displaying (in full screen mode, please) might shed some light.

I realized that I had a different version of WMP that came from somewhere.

I found the original one and everything is  working.
