I have rented a movie on my XBox360, using Xbox Live and my usual payment method.
Every time I try to play the movie I get the following message "Playback Error status code: c101a3ff"
The movie is The Accountant.
I have verified the movie has been paid for.
I have deleted the cache and all tv apps. I have reinstalled the Microsoft Movies & TV app. I have updated the system.
It is now day 2 - I have checked that the payment has gone through, and my purchase history.
The Accountant and the other movies are still available.
But every time I try to play the Accountant I get the same error code.
I have searched for this error code - it only appears in connection with a registry problem in MS Windows.
Does anyone have any idea how to deal with this error on an xbox360 , or even what it is?
