How do i fix the error 5 in my 30gb Zune first generation?

I've had my 30gb Zune first generation for almost 6 years and recently i got the error 5 message in the screen. I've tried pressing up and back buttons and it restarts with the words ZUNE but it never loads and after a while it goes back to the error 5 message. Help.

Hello Luis ruiz velez,

I understand you get an error message on your Zune player says:

Contact support 5, you may need to send your player in for service but before you do so, please refer to the following link further:

http://www.zune.net/en-US/support/zuneplayers/solvingproblems/contactsupporterror.htm

If the previous steps did not resolve the problem i would suggest you send your device for repair.  You can log into this page and follow the steps https://service.zune.net/en-us/Pages/Welcome.aspx.

If your device was out of warranty and you chose to replace your device, you do not have to send the device to the repair center. You only send the device to the repair center when the device is on warranty and needs to be serviced.
